The Heritage Commission of the Diocese of Cochin works to preserve and promote the rich spiritual, cultural, and historical heritage of the diocese. Under the leadership of Rev. DDr. Johney Xavier Puthukkattu, the commission undertakes activities related to the conservation of churches, sacred art, historical documents, traditions, and cultural practices connected to the Catholic faith.

It also creates awareness among the faithful about the importance of protecting the diocese’s heritage for future generations. Through research, documentation, and educational initiatives, the commission safeguards the historical identity and legacy of the Diocese of Cochin.
